DESCRIPTION:

An introduction to tap and ballet for our tiniest dancers! Students will focus on refining their listening skills and developing a strong mind/body connection. This class is independent of parents/guardians and dancers must be potty trained.

DESCRIPTION:

Our second year Tap/Ballet combo class. Class will focus on strengthening the fundamental tap and ballet technique. No experience needed, but students must have a strong attention span. This class is independent of parents/guardians.

Dancerettes continue to build on to their tap and ballet technique, while also introducing jazz.

Our ballet classes stand independently from our core combo curriculum. They are a great add on for any of our dancers or as a stand alone!

Ballet I, II, and III will each have one performance piece in our June Showcase.

Ballet I:

An introduction to the flow of a ballet class. Students will learn basic ballet etiquette and terminology, body to mind alignment, and proper stretching techniques.

ATTIRE:

• Tights, mandatory lavender leotard **Please order with us! Until your dancer's leotard gets in, please wear black.

• Hair pulled back in bun

Ballet II:

Building off of Ballet I, this class will focus on strengthening. Class will consist of barre, center, and across the floor work.

ATTIRE:

• Tights, mandatory maroon leotard **Please order with us! Until your dancer's leotard gets in, please wear black.

• Hair pulled back in bun

Ballet III:

Designed for our advanced Company members, Ballet III consists of barre, center, and across the floor practices.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe:

Dancers will work on strength and flexibility in order to be successful in pointe work.

Dancers are required to concurrently enroll in at least 1 other ballet class.

Classical Russian Ballet

Vaganova style ballet class, recommended for dancers with 3+ years of experience.

Jazz Tech 1

An intermediate level class designed to refine technique. Recommended for dancers 10+

Tricks & Turns

This is an advanced class that challenges dancers to go outside of their comfort zones.

Beginning Hip Hop

A fun and encouraging environment to get your dancer moving! We work on rhythm and our mind/body connection. There will be a performance included in our June Showcase.

Intermediate Hip Hop

This class will be based on weekly combos in which dancers will practice learning choreography quickly and adding a performance element.
